It is the policy of R.E. Esparza Real Estate, Inc doing business as Cal Capital Real Estate (collectively "CCRE") to be in compliance with applicable privacy laws. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act governs since it applies to financial institutions including real estate agents, non-bank mortgage lenders, loan brokers, some financial or investment advisers, real estate settlement services, and debt collectors. The law requires that all non-public personal information collected about individuals is protected (although it does not apply to information collected in business or commercial activities).  The law further requires that individual customers must receive a Privacy Notice every year for as long as the customer relationship lasts.  


CCRE maintains a Privacy Notice to provide to Customers when required. Delivery of this notice must be made by mail or in-person. To ensure compliance, it is CCRE’s policy to deliver a notice at least annually to all customers whether individuals, businesses or commercial entities and regardless of whether the nature of the activities are consumer business or commercial related. In addition, the notice is provided to loan applicants and to investors. This policy is to make certain that all Customers that are required to receive the notice will be captured under any circumstance.

The Privacy Notice includes CCRE practices and a recap of the information collected by CCRE, with whom we share our information and how we protect and safeguard the information. CCRE’s policy is that it does not share non-public information received with third parties for marketing purposes. As a result, we do not include information for “opt out” rights.

This Privacy Notice applies to all products and services provided by R.E. Esparza Real Estate, Inc doing business as Cal Capital Real Estate (collectively "CCRE"). CCRE is dedicated to ensuring the privacy of our clients. Our Privacy Policy has been designed to protect the information you give us while providing valuable financial products and services. Please read this important Privacy Notice which describes our practices in maintaining the confidentiality of personal information.

First and foremost: While other companies may sell non-public personal information to telemarketers and mailing lists, CCRE  does not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted or required by law.

CCRE collects non-public personal information from the following sources:

  • Information we receive on loan applications or other forms, correspondence, email, website, in-person or telephone conversations or by any other means. Information collected includes, but is not limited to, name, address, social security number, income, assets, credit history and other important financial information.
  • Information about transactions with us or others, including, but not limited to, account balance, payment histories, account activities, parties to transactions and loan advances.
  • Information we receive from third parties such as consumer reporting agencies.

We are protecting the security and integrity of customer information through procedures and technology designed for this purpose. For example:

  • Our physical, electronic and procedural safeguards comply with federal standards regarding the protection of non-public personal information.
  • We require independent contractors and outside companies who work with us to adhere to our strict privacy standards.
  • We use technological means (such as backup files, virus detection and eradication software, and other computer software and hardware) to protect against unauthorized access or alterations to non-public personal information.
  • We restrict access to your non-public personal information to those employees who have a legitimate business need to know that information to provide products or services.
